Like, sorry he didn't know the dude's name, but Mercer was only meeting so many people a day, and he hadn't met this dude yet. "It's pure WHITE dogs, I think. And I heard that the Ministry keeps like a huge herd of pure white bloodhounds just for nogtails."

Wait. Was that right? Mercer turned slightly on the spot to see if anyone could verify that. "Do they call a group of dogs a herd? A passel? A flock? Whatever, they have a load of them. Maybe. That's what I heard."
