~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Well excuse him for laying there. Brody hadn’t seen anyone else gotten wrapped up snugly in a rogue flying carpet, twirled all around the room just for apparent fun and then wound up heaving their breakfast. He found it quite understandable if he wanted to lie there dramatically for the rest of the day. Okay, okay, not the entire day because he was actually starting to feel better. Brody reached up to grab Conley’s hand then hauled himself to his feet. He stood there for a moment, attempting to get his bearings back. At least he didn’t seem to want to barf again.
The mess was being taken care of which suited Brody quite fine. All he wanted to do was get out of here. Maybe find Gabe, tell him all about this misadventure then head out. “Pretty sure nothing’s broken but fine. I’ll stop by the Healer.” Maybe he’d pretend the dizziness and nausea were still there so that the Healer didn’t send him back here to work. “I’ll be back tomorrow then.” The Coordinator gestured vaguely with his hand - it could be classified as a wave - before heading off to collect his belongings.
Dang carpet.
On the bright side, he had an entire day for himself. |
