Lovely™ | Captain Hurted | Ariana's Bane | Resident Antagonist | Unparalleled Delight "Merrrrcer," Milo responded, his eyes still on the pumpkin in front of him, but his ears on the discussions around him, and particularly on Mercer's and Mr Hernandez'. All to the better, because Hernandez had made a good point. "Thirteen is a strong number." Easier on the stomach in general.
Milo had never ever liked the way some of these teachers locked them inside the classroom when lessons started. Nothing had happened yet, but by making it seem like the norm, they were clearly setting the stage, and Milo was onto them. He'd feel better about it once he could magic his way through walls. The click of the lock made him jolt suddenly, which in turn made him knock the pumpkin forward the last inch or so all at once; it teetered over the edge of the desk and out of sight. Not half a second later, he heard the sickening thunk of stone on pumpkin flesh, and shuddered.
As Milo knelt up and leaned forward to see if the pumpkin had come to as traumatic an end as it sounded, he offered an answer to the possible villain's question. "If you need a replacement pumpkin." He peered over the other side of the desk, gripping it in both hands, tilting the stool below him precariously, and staring at the pumpkin innards leaking onto the floor. "Off with his head." |
