Mercer was still scribbling away at his word search, looking for words that weren't actually given as clues. He hoped to find his name. Or someone in his family. That always happened when he and his granddad did puzzles together. Mercer or Doyle always showed up as a clue. Or maybe granddad did that on purpose?
He figured everyone else had the right idea, anyway, so he kept his head down and kept scribbling away until Milo spoke up. "HEY. MILO HAS A THEORY." Mercer was the best hypeman in the world, fyi.
