Maya smiled at Cooper when he took a seat by her and Ash. She wasn't too familiar with the 7th year but what she did know was that he was rather good looking and talented. But this was class and not time to stare at attractive classmates. She worked diligently on her puzzle, not that it took too long for her to complete it. Once she did, her eyes wandered over to the door and caught Evan's arrival. She frowned slightly at the sight of him. He looked... off. And she had noticed that he had been absent from more than one class.
But he hadn't said anything to her?
She bit on her lower lip, wondering if it was worth bringing up but more students had entered and before she knew it the bell had rung, indicating that class was now in session. How extremely muggle.
At Professor Holden's first question, it seemed as though everyone had an answer. A bit distracted as she kept looking back over at her brother, she drew a blank. Merlin, he looked awful. And so she kept quiet, opting to take note of what everyone else said while glancing back.
