The air outside had a slight chill to it, but nothing too awful. He was wearing his hoodie and had his Gryffindor scarf wrapped around him as he lounged on one of the brick walls, staring up at his book and also using it to block the sun from his eyes. MULTI-TASKING.
Delilah was becoming somewhat of a fan of the Hogwarts grounds. Even though she was still making friends and figuring out who everybody was, she found that going outside where everybody else seemed to be was one of her favorite things to do. So just as she had done almost every day this past week, she headed back outside. She was actually heading toward the wooden bridge when she hesitated in the courtyard.
She hadn't realized that she'd hesitated right in front of some older boy. Ohh, she knew him! She thought his name might be Adam, but she wasn't sure. She'd only overheard it in the common room. What in the name of Godric Gryffindor was he doing anyway? Bird watching? Studying? She had just decided not to bother him, when a slight wind came along and ripped her loosely-tied scarf right off her neck. It blew right in the direction of Adam's face, although she cringed and squeezed her eyes shut, so she couldn't know for sure. Ughhh. Sorry, dude.
