Somewhat awkwardly lifts the book for him to see that it wasn't necessarily a book but more a bunch of notes that had been compiled into a book of sorts.. for safe keeping. "It has my important things in it.. like the stuff I'm interested and the areas of magic I need to work on.. spells I'm learning." It had tons and tons of information.
"Nope, I'm used to it." Lia flashed him a quick smile. This was always how she had laid since a small child unless she was inside and could lounge on a couch or arm chair. As for Sir Frederik he was still sound asleep on her back.
Daniel looked at the stack of notes Dahlia had lifted for him to see before he reached inside of the paper bag for another cookie. It was almost empty by now.
"You should bind them together" He had a notebook like that as well and he wished he had it with him so that they could compare notes. Perhaps she had thoughts and goals that he could implement in his notebook and vice versa.
Daniel frowned as he reached for another chocolate chip cookie and his hand reached the bottom of the paper bag but his fingers did not grasp a cookie. He took his hand out and looked inside, only to discover that he had already eaten everything.
With a deep sigh, he returned his gaze to Dahlia and shrugged.
"To each their own, i suppose" he replied. When he read and took notes, he had to sit up straight.
He smiled slightly as he noticed Sir Frederik aka Sir Pudding on her back. It wasn't a broad smile, more like that the corners of his mouth lifted slightly.
"How long have you had that Pygmy Puff?"
