She did not think the arrangement they had was weird. It made sense. It had started off as a favour to each other and they absolutely were now friends. But it was true… she did like-like someone else. She like-liked that someone else long before she and Ignacio had ever kissed or had their learning-to-kiss agreement. And she had like-liked them a stupid amount when she’d kissed Ig on the train. But right now she was just Lumi and Lumi was making it through each day (as quickly as she could), engrossing herself in tennis practice, studying and studying. The good stuff.

Lumi Kolzer was predictable. She moved through the castle and out to the courtyard, racket bag hanging from one shoulder, a bucket of balls in one hand and a bottle of water in the other.

Time to continue learning exactly how to play on her own all over again.
