I was so scared when I first got here as a first year.. and now I almost hate to leave it..” Almost..

Even after the war and her parents..

She shoved those thoughts away.. she couldn’t think about that right now.

“Exactly! After what happened last summer, I wanted to look and be different. ” She had made it out alive and now it was time to heal and move forward somehow.. the hair was a start. “We can both be hopeful together ” She said with a soft smile as his hand reached up to touch her hair and she blushed again.

Was it warm in here?

“Thanks.. I’m glad you like it. ” Her voice was soft as she nervously tucked some hair behind her ear and glanced at him. It must have been warm, cause he looked like he was blushing too!

Maybe the magical charms in this dome were wonky?
Bram gave her a sad smile. She had been a great listening ear for him so far. They had hung out a lot over the summer after they met in Diagon Alley. They told each other their stories and got to know each other and were each other's listening ears. It was great to have a friend that understood what he was going through. Common tragedy always made people bond. He shifted into a seated position, despite enjoying lying down, talking was easier sitting up. "Yeah, I'll definitely need an ear I am sure." He gave her a sad smile, as he listened to her talk. "I hope so. Friends would be great, but even if I only have you, I'd be happy too." He gave her a cheeky grin and a wink, before looking down at his hands.

"Right now I am a bit homesick." He said quietly. It was hard to admit that. He was a fifteen year old boy...he shouldn't be homesick, but he was. It was all he knew.

He grinned hearing her talk about her new hair style and seeing how excited an animated she got made him happy. "Well, it looks great on you and I can already see that you hold yourself differently. More confident and dare I say, happy." He said with a quizzical brow before chuckling. He nodded at that next statement. "We can definitely be hopeful together, for sure." He liked the sound of that.

He gave her a crooked grin. "Stop being so pretty, lass. It's distracting." He said rather seriously before sticking out his tongue.
