urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse Sigh.
There was no denying it now.
The summer was mostly spent at an impasse, and for good reason. He’d told himself, over and over, to go about his business. Maybe focus on OWLs or kisses or something else that’ll get his attention. To not think about being in the castle without the one person who told him stories about it.
But that was all lost the moment he entered the Great Hall. His feet might’ve been walking towards the Ravenclaw table, but his eyes were scanning the Gryffindor table. Scanning for a familiar blonde head of hair that, deep down, he knew wasn’t going to be there.
Reaching up, Sammy forced his head - and therefore, his gaze - round to the Ravenclaw table, instead. Clocking some familiar faces, he immediately veered in that direction. Distractions, distractions. ”In that case: howdy, partner,” he said to little Ruari, even pretending to tip off his ‘hat’ to him. And no, he wasn’t even going to pretend he knew what Lisa was talking about. Instead, he turned to an unfamiliar face (Sirius) and tried his best to give him a smile. ”Hey, welcome to Ravenclaw. Ig’s right, it is the best house,” He couldn’t see his face but he hoped that cheeky, dimpled smile was there. ”I’m Sammy, by the way. Or just Sam.” Not that it mattered but……. Samuel? Too much.
The fifth year sat down near his fellow fifth years and, probably, his favourite third year. ”Hey, housemate (Lisa), Evan! How’s your summer been? Didn’t get into any trouble, did you?” The last part was more for Lisa than Evan. He couldn’t get into trouble even if he wanted to. ”You seem to be in a very good mood, Ig. Are you that excited for the OWLs or something?” That’s right, the cheeky game was still going strong.
