Ivy knelt on the floor, keeping herself eye level with the open cat carrier and the little black cat within. The carrier was set on one seat, and her kitty was curled up towards the back of it, eyes wide and ears alert. He hadn't enjoyed the train rides to and from Hogwarts last term, and it seemed that it would be the same this term. But she still wanted to try to help him calm down.

She held up one of his little mouse toys, shaking it so he'd hear the rattle of the bell inside it, but so far he didn't seem to take much notice of it. And then compartment door opened and a new voice spoke, asking about an open seat.

Ivy smiled as she looked over to see who it was. "Oh, no, it's free. You can sit in here if you want."
