~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ Claimed by Bits ❤️ ~ Queen of Typos ❄ Magical Mosh Pit ❄ Yes, well not everyone was used to seeing blood or gore on a regular basis. Brody sure wasn’t one of them so excuse him for reacting the way he did. Ronan need not worry because he had no intention of stepping into the blood. Now that his mind was making sense of what had just happened, he was able to process the fact that someone had just gotten dragged off. Even as the DIMC Coordinator watched Ronan work, he really wasn’t seeing exactly what was being done. Why? Because he found himself worrying about the victim. What if it was someone he knew? Worst… what if it was someone he cared about?
Rudely jerked out of his thoughts by Damian, he looked around at the man silhouetted in the limited light. Brody’s gaze shifted from Damian to Ronan. Were they actually going to burst into argument now? That was obviously not wise. Oddly enough, despite what Brody had just witnessed, his mind was clearing even more now. “Now’s not the time to get all caught up in emotions,’’ came the young man’s dry comment.
He addressed Ronan. “Should we follow the trail? See if by some miracle we find someone at the end of it… they might need help.” They could also find the thing that did the dragging. Should they get backup instead? It was why he was checking with Ronan first who had the training and maybe the experience with this sort of issue. |
