She didn't care very much about the potion itself, to be honest. So rather than entertain the actual question posed for the class, Kins took out her journal and began working on one of the sketches she had started earlier that day. It was important to get started on Halloween costumes well in advance, especially seeing as she was planning to make her own again. So. Potions, who? It was for this reason that she felt all sorts of lost when she realized everyone else was partnering up ... and though she would never willingly partner with a first year (who she didn't know!!!), she had no choice, but to walk over to him anyway.

She nudged him gently, "Do you need a partner?"
