Why was Daniel being rude???? “Oooooookay, Daniel, no need to be mean.” Usually she’d bring out the waterworks when someone was mean to her, but she was feeling too irritated by it. “I happen to be really alert. I’m soooo good at flying class, did you know?” Of course he knew - they were in the same class.
With her eyebrow raised, Remy blinked at the boy. “No. I winded myself. You know, from falling out of a tree.”
DUH.
Daniel shook his head.
"He probably was more upset that he couldn't leave the house for half the summer than that he was hurt"
The second year raised his head up again to look at the small treehouse up in the tree before looking back at
DRemy.
"You really seem to like it" and for that, he began to become a bit more interested. WHAT was so special about climbing a tree?
"Alright I'll climb..." this was a mistake wasn't it?
"I wasn't being mean?" he looked properly confused now. Why did people always think that he was being mean?
"I was just stating a fact. You were unalert" he shrugged. He was certain that even the Headmaster would have called her out for it if this had been a class.
"Yeah, you are" he said absentmindedly while gazing at the lowest branch of the tree. So if he climbed that one? And then....ah there was the second branch... He thought that he got the climbing route.
"I suck at Flying" he said after a short pause and then let out a small chuckle.
So she wasn't rubbing her stomach because she was hungry but because the fall had hurt...
"Oh ok" Daniel said and then put his hand inside of his pocket and took out two frog gummy candies before popping both in his mouth without offering one to the girl. She had just said that she wasn't hungry, right?
"So, how do I climb this thing without falling to my death?" bit dramatic, he knew. But APPARENTLY, he was dramatic according to some. Looking at you Lisa and Alfred.
