Jordyn was waiting for class to begin, curious as to what they would be learning today. She was glad to see her dormmate, Margaret, when she arrived and stood next to her. Not sure how much conversation they were allowed to have during class, she just gave her new friend a smile.

Soon enough, the Headmaster announced that class was beginning. Jordyn turned her attention to the man in charge and listened carefully. He asked a question of the class and after thinking a minute, she raised her hand.

“The first danger I could think of would be the darkness and the unfamiliar forrest. I would be concerned about not being able to see who or what was around me that could be dangerous. I could use Lumos to light my wand and help me to see.” Then another thought came to her. “Of course lighting my wand might tip off any dangerous creatures to my presence…..so that could be a tricky situation.”
