Valentina was almost always surprised when people full named her - not that she had any problem with it - but it felt different somehow. She immediately noticed the kitten on the chair, her face immediately brightening up. Kittens were just super cute, weren't they? Maybe she could ask her parents to get her one the next time she was home for the holidays.

"Not bad at all. I mean, even though I miss dancing full time.. it's nice to be back." She smiled at him as she goes to sit to take a seat. "How about you? How was your summer?"
