"That's right!," Colwyn nodded his head as he pointed a finger at the girl. "Owls not only preen themselves but they will preen one another as well if they are comfortable with each other." Dawn seemed watching the children in the crowd but Dusk was using his beak to clean his feathers as the girl had said.

"Not only will they use their beaks to clean themselves but they will also use their talons. The two outside talons are called the 'feather combs' and these help them to clean their heads." Which as if on cue Dusk was now doing. One might come to think that the owl knew exactly what Col was saying and was showing the group or it was an incredible fluke.
