Even now, leading up to it, there was a lot to do to get everyone ready, but it was still relaxed enough that he had the time and energy for a family trip out (sans Ivo, because dogs were not suited to side-along apparition, and he probably appreciated a little peace and quiet) for a well-deserved afternoon off.

After stopping at home to freshen up, Drago had headed to Diagon Alley, where he'd said he would seek out Oliver and the kids. Searching had not taken long; he'd noticed evidence of hand-decorated bags all over the place, and asked someone to point him in the direction of where they'd got them. If Oliver hadn't been here yet, Dragomir would eat his own dance bag.

Lo and behold.

Grinning to himself, Dragomir wandered over to join his perfect husband and perfect kids. "There's my beautiful family." He kissed each on the top of their heads, and circled around to sit on the opposite side on the bench. "What have I missed?" The twins each got a poke on the nose then, just because. Boop, boop.

Oliver was busying himself with preparing supplies for the twins. Things that they could handle well enough on their own, like finger paint. His main goal was to just keep it away from their mouths. As long as they didn't eat it, he didn't really mind if they got messy. A mess can be cleaned up when they're done, after all. And after a year and a half with twins, he was quite used to mess.

It was just as he was letting each twin start in on the finger paint that that Dragomir appeared. Oliver beamed at his husband. "Hello, love. How's rehearsal going?" He started preparing his own art supplies now and nodded at the twins. "You haven't missed much yet, they were just getting ready to make a mess." Which, honestly, was often the case.
