Is he your... b-b-boyfriend?" she asked curiously. To her, special friend and boyfriend were synonymous but she was realising that there may have been a slight difference between the two. Also it was a little childish to refer to one's
significant other as a special friend.... Despite that, Lisa always enjoyed the reaction she got out of older students and adults a like when she would refer to their partners as special friends. Heh. Worth it for the LOLZ.
