Her bodyguards were not as happy about this. They said that she absolutely HAD to bring them along if she was going to be doing fireworks stuff. Ugh. She picked Dustin, leaving Alex in a food place to become better at pretending to be a wizard. She practically dragged Dustin down the street by the arm. Irritatingly, he was a lot bigger and somewhat stronger, and he was setting the pace. But they still made it to the celebrations fairly quickly. So quickly, in fact, that Serena wasn't even there. Ash made the executive decision to get face paint. She picked a butterfly design and Dustin even got it matching. BEST BODYGUARD/BABYSITTER EVER!!!

Face painting done, Ash headed back to the fireworks station and saw Serena. Serena was clearly the coolest ever, as evidenced by the fact that she knocked out Healer Poppy. Soooo... "Serena!!! Hi!" Ash was so much happier than usual, she was practically as happy as Lisa on a regular day. "This is Dustin. He said I couldn't do fireworks without bringing him, so I brought him because..." She waved her arms at the fireworks station. "I love fireworks! No one can stop me from doing pyrotechnics stuff. Nobody." She grinned, completely ignoring Dustin's exasperated look. She hoped that Serena didn't mind happy Ashley. It was rare phenomenon... she could stop being happy if that was preferable.

That was not fair! Ashley's bodyguard had their face painted. Serena shot a look at her pair of bodyguards--who stood a few ways away, keeping an eye on her, and leaving her alone at the same time--and narrowed her eyes at them. "Oi! Why aren't your faces painted too?!" Per usual, the men didn't blink an eye and remained at their post, watching.

It was dumb, but Serena was lowkey grateful for them. Especially when a few years ago she was almost kidnapped. A tag that comes along with having a famous Quidditch player as a mum and uncle and a grandfather.

Serena ignored them ignoring her and smiled at Ashley, whom was happy today. Really, really happy. This was a side she hadn't seen before. Not bad, just new. "Same. I had to bring mine." Serena jabbed her thumb at the men standing a few yards away behind her. "Stefan and Flavios."

Maybe it was fireworks that made Ashley all happy, Serena's smile widened a little more. "Of course, no one will stop you. We'll tag team." Her smile turned into a smirk. Fire was Serena's natural element. Before she got a wand her magic manifested in a lot of accidental fires or explosions whenever she was in distress or extremely excited. The latter was rare.

"I like your face, by the way." Face paint was cool.

Her smile faded when a stranger approached them. Serena guessed he must be the one in charge of this booth.

SPOILER!!: Randy

Now, to the kiddos here!

There was a set of twins that caught his eye first, and Randy just grinned in their direction as they approached. "Telescopes you say?" he interjected excitedly. "There's LOTS of different kinds......" and colors. And anything they wanted, really. "Aren't you two little adventurers. I can see it in your eyes. That TWINKLE." He made jazz hands and his eyes got REALLY ROUND AND BIG on the word twinkle.

And now a couple of younger girls with burly fellows following behind them. Randy wouldn't pretend to understand any of the customers' situations, so he just smiled and waved at them as they approached. "Good day, young ladies! I hope you have fun! Enjoy the fire!" he gestured at the table all BIG and just laughed.

The other girl was on her own, and he could see the look in her eyes. She was IMPRESSED. "Hello there! Did you need help with anyone, dearie?"

Enjoy the fire, indeed.

"Thank you," she said curtly. "So we just put things together and make them go boom?" Or was HE going to rob them of their fun? Like adults normally did.
