SPOILER!!: Hiii Serena

Ash was very excited to get an owl from Serena(could have been a text message, but still). Despite hanging out with several friends, Ash still felt very alone. But Serena... maybe understood her more than other people did. They did share a love of explosions. And Ash was already in town for the week, so why not go to this festival as well?

Her bodyguards were not as happy about this. They said that she absolutely HAD to bring them along if she was going to be doing fireworks stuff. Ugh. She picked Dustin, leaving Alex in a food place to become better at pretending to be a wizard. She practically dragged Dustin down the street by the arm. Irritatingly, he was a lot bigger and somewhat stronger, and he was setting the pace. But they still made it to the celebrations fairly quickly. So quickly, in fact, that Serena wasn't even there. Ash made the executive decision to get face paint. She picked a butterfly design and Dustin even got it matching. BEST BODYGUARD/BABYSITTER EVER!!!

Face painting done, Ash headed back to the fireworks station and saw Serena. Serena was clearly the coolest ever, as evidenced by the fact that she knocked out Healer Poppy. Soooo... "Serena!!! Hi!" Ash was so much happier than usual, she was practically as happy as Lisa on a regular day. "This is Dustin. He said I couldn't do fireworks without bringing him, so I brought him because..." She waved her arms at the fireworks station. "I love fireworks! No one can stop me from doing pyrotechnics stuff. Nobody." She grinned, completely ignoring Dustin's exasperated look. She hoped that Serena didn't mind happy Ashley. It was rare phenomenon... she could stop being happy if that was preferable.
