There were often times where she did wish she was coming as a player, instead of a Ministry employee, but that ship had long since sailed and she did enjoy her work. "You look lovely as well. I'm sure all of our players will be pleased to receive an award from you!" For a multitude of reasons.

The ceremony was starting however, and she got herself comfortable in her seat which she noticed was next to Nathaniel. She remained respectfully quiet through the official presentation of awards, clapping when appropriate and sending encouraging smiles to the winners as they received their prizes. It really had been a great season, and events like this were a welcome distraction from prior events.

Once all of the awards had been presented and the G&S department head was inviting them to enjoy the remainder of the evening, Rose turned her attention back to the plate in front of her and cutting off a small bite of her meal before also looking over at Nathaniel. "She really is doing a wonderful job, isn't she? She and Mr. Hawthorne both." She was actually quite fond of their department heads, not that she'd had any issues with Victoria.
Turning back to the table after the applause had ended he smiled at Rosemary. Taking a small bite of his meal and brushing his napkins against the corner of his mouth he nodded at her question. "Oh they absolutely are. We've done a great job in the games department this year in my opinion." Granted he really felt like this past season was very different because people wanted to move past the war and everything that came with it.

Setting his fork down he turned a bit more toward her, "How have things been going for you in the department lately? Also that dress looks lovely." He did always like to give a compliment where he could. Plus the dress was absolutely stunning.
