Rosemary smiled back at her department head, giving her a soft thanks and doing her best to make it as humble seeming as possible. Though really, she was anything but. She was used to events like this, and she loved getting all glamoured up to attend. There were often times where she did wish she was coming as a player, instead of a Ministry employee, but that ship had long since sailed and she did enjoy her work. "You look lovely as well. I'm sure all of our players will be pleased to receive an award from you!" For a multitude of reasons.
The ceremony was starting however, and she got herself comfortable in her seat which she noticed was next to Nathaniel. She remained respectfully quiet through the official presentation of awards, clapping when appropriate and sending encouraging smiles to the winners as they received their prizes. It really had been a great season, and events like this were a welcome distraction from prior events.
Once all of the awards had been presented and the G&S department head was inviting them to enjoy the remainder of the evening, Rose turned her attention back to the plate in front of her and cutting off a small bite of her meal before also looking over at Nathaniel. "She really is doing a wonderful job, isn't she? She and Mr. Hawthorne both." She was actually quite fond of their department heads, not that she'd had any issues with Victoria.
