Professor Varma had spiked the potion?!? Well not spiked but swapped them out but then again Lisa felt quite foolish for not seeing through it. She had trusted Varma in the moment because adults knew best but now… doubt was creeping in. She would have been more upset but as she had that precise thought of feeling foolish, it disappeared quickly and then she couldn’t remember exactly what had happened.

Then it all clicked and she was once again gasping. Say whaaaaat!!! She had been DUPED! She pouted. Lisa hadn’t known that Varma would have had it within her to trick them but this WAS an important lesson for the youngest Nam to learn. Trust but verify what was going on. She wrote that down and then quickly added another sentence. Constant vigilance. Maybe Trent was right.

She stayed quiet and sulked at the Professor’s next question. As she listened to the answers, she began jotting a few down ideas. Don’t trust a dark wizard when they offer you a potion. Don’t take candy from someone you don’t know or anything…. Should have listened more to her parents…
