After checking in with Security, getting his visitor's badge, and having his holly wand weighed, Kalen wandered into the atrium on his way to the lifts. He had some time to kill before he needed to head up to Games and Sports and he had thought to toss a coin into the fountain. He'd done it since he was little and to not do so was bad luck, or so he had come to think. The one time he hadn't done it, he'd ended up with chicken pox.

So he was a bit confounded by the fact that the fountain was currently 'closed' and wrapped up like a precious plant during a deep frost. His face took on a weird 'errr' look as he stood there, hands tucked into his pockets as he tried to figure out why the fountain was closed. Clearly the young man hadn't been a plus-one to the orientation and had no idea of what was going on under the beige cover.
