Serena had been walking around with a little phial, and kept smelling it from time to time. She had looked up a potion to help her disguise other smells and this one came up. All she had to do was take a huuuuuuuge sniff of it and it'd smell like peppermint for a while. It was better than BREAD.

Walking into the History of Magic classroom she inhaled and smiled to herself. Peppermint. It actually put her in a good mood. "Hello, Professor."

Her smile turned stoic when she focused on the board. Huh. This was interesting, and as she passed her best friend, Lisa, Serena waved at her. "A girl died in a bathroom that led to the Chamber of Secrets created by Salazar Slytherin." Serena informed after catching Lisa's question. Wasn't that a known fact? Or was that one of the many macabre stories Slytherin families passed down to their children?

Seeing as Lisa sat with Remy, Serena took a seat next to V. The Remy girl hadn't made a good impression on Serena, and she didn't want to deal with attitude.

"That's got to be the Gaunt's ring," Serena said, looking over at V. Right? She was a Slytherin. She must know their house history...or was that just her?
