Food was something Penelope was a big fan of, but she hadn't yet gone up to pile pancakes and muffins onto a plate or grab a smoothie. Maybe later. She did, however, snatch up a plain black mug, but not to decorate. Yet. She was more inclined to take it home and let Zeppelin decorate it. Maybe owl it to Ivy and Sage too. The three of them would make it look far nicer than she could. And then she might actually use it.

Decorated or not, the mug was useful for giving her hands something to fiddle with while her focus was on people watching. Many familiar faces spotted already, even among the new hires, like old Hogwarts yearmate Theodore Kinsley. She wondered which department he had been hired by. He looked to be mingling with a few people already, so she'd find out later.

And it appeared she wasn't the only ~~anti-social~~ observant one since Tomasz Łaska in the corner not too far away from her. He got a nod if he happened to look her way.

And back to watching. Looking out for any ~~bears~~ suspicious people. Things were different now than they were a year ago - the restored fountain was one of the many testaments to that. But even so, constant vigilance.
