SPOILER!!: Euka

As another student came in and decided to give a wave Euka smiled and waved back, "Good afternoon, I'm so happy you have joined us today." Meda had a feeling her class would be a bit busy today, knew professor and all. She wasn't that old... yet to not realize people would be curious.

Heading away from the door Meda smiled at the class. "Good afternoon everyone. If I haven't met you before this I am Professor Euka and I am so happy to be standing here with you today. I'd like to thank you for putting up with my little poster. I've been all different trainings and have taught in a few places, but I like to bring a few things into my classroom that gives students the chance to express themselves in their own ways, gives you creativity and options. " It gave her a sense of how students react to things as well. "If you haven't met Irvin yet you will see him moving around the class." smiling she pointed out the peacock chilling in the back of the room at the moment.

"Now I know some of you are having a harder time in this room than others, but I promise we will all get through this first class together and move forward. I am here to show you the amazing ways of Divination and how fun it can be. I have come from a long line of Diviners and our passion for teaching the subject does run in the family." She knew her sister had different ways of reaching the students than she did, but she hoped they would enjoy her style just as much.

"To start off today though I have to ask by a show of hands who wishes they could take a nap? I mean it is afternoon, you've worked really hard in your classes and had lunch. A nap at this time of day just seems perfect." Glancing around the room she expected to see many different reactions to this question and wouldn't be surprised with some yeses and claps. "The problem with naps and sleep in general is that sometimes people can be afraid of letting go of the control that sleep takes. You are the most vulnerable when you sleep. You have no defense, you have no control on your fears, concerns, or any other things taking over your mind while you sleep. " She walked around the room looking at all the students as she continued.

"Dreams can be an interesting topic all on their own and something we will be focusing on today. My question to start us off today is why do you think we dream and why do you think we don't remember every dream we have?"

Taking a few more deep, calming breaths, Aibhi then opened her eyes to look at professor Euka as she began to speak to the entire class. She raised her eyebrow in curiosity as she looked in the back of the class. Yeah, Merlin, there was a peacock. And his name was Irvin? That's bloody brilliant. Turning her attention back to professor Euka as she looks down for a moment still feeling a bit of a...heavy air to the room from the events of last term, but listening to Euka, Aibhi could tell that there was something about her that she liked. Something that was...insightful. Yeah, this wasn't Kittridge, but it almost felt like listening to her. Aibhi's attention was grabbed.

Hearing her first question, Aibhi didn't hesitate and raised her hand because sleep hasn't really been an option for her as of late. Napping, sleeping...it was near impossible. but then again...she was just afraid to go to sleep...as much as she wanted to...she knew she would wake up screaming at one point and breaking out into a cold sweat. Her uncle dealt with it the most over the summer...but he helped her as best as he could for her. Sleep...Dreams...this was going to be an interesting class.

Sitting up a bit, she raises her hand, keeping her focus on professor Euka as she walked around the classroom and shrugs, "Our bodies are pretty interesting. Sometimes we dream to...escape from our normal world and try to put ourselves into a different world where all of our worries and fears no longer exist, but remembering the dreams? That's a little tricky, isn't it? While some may suggest that dreams are a window to the subconscious, other theories say that dreams are a nonsense result of the activity that takes place while we sleep and restore our brains when we fall asleep. Basically our ability to remember dreams all depends on our brains going through essential and non-essential information as we sleep."
