Really? This was what they came up with to deal with everything that had happened.? Why wasn't someone making explanations or apologies to the students?!? For the abysmal way the adults had failed them last year.
They wanted to know how Violet felt about that? Fine, if her letter to the editor over the summer hadn't been clear enough, she would tell them.
"I feel as if I can't trust anyone in authority any more," she said firmly, looking Healer Poppy straight in the eye.
