"Hi Quinn," Margaret said with a smile when the second year sat next to her. She was in a nice little sandwich of friendship here, wasn't she. Not that...well, she couldn't read minds, but she thought Florrie and Quinn and was that Atlas over there, they were all her friends.
She continued munching on the bread while people sat down and then Healer Poppy was explaining the activity. She thought about it for a minute, nibbling the strawberry bread while she tried to decide what she felt. She had felt hungry, but that was going away now she was eating. She raised her eyebrows at Evan Nam and everybody else who weren't cooperating with the activity. Was it really that hard to just participate or stay quiet? She didn't think so.
"I feel confused," she said finally. It wasn't really related to the last year, but...well, it was true. She was always confused. |
