It wasn't often that Daniel got nervous for an event but right at this moment he felt that his hands were getting sweaty as he entered the Great Hall. The Sorting Ceremony was something that he had been waiting for for years and finally the moment had arrived that he was going to join the Ravenclaw House.

His older brother, Minjae had told him about the four Houses at Hogwarts before and from the information he had gathered he was more than convinced he'd be in Ravenclaw.

As his last name started with a Y, Daniel knew he would be one of the last to get sorted and while he waited he looked up at the ceiling and being blown away by the sight of the night sky above him. He must have been staring at it for a while, lost in his thoughts as his name "Yoon, Daniel" being said had startled him out of it.

He stepped forward, his heart racing in his chest as he sat down on the stool and turned to see the room before the big Sorting Hat was placed on top of his head and his sight vanished for the hat was too big for him.

"Ah! Another Yoon! I sorted your brother a while back" the Hat spoke merrily

"I know, now sort me in to Ravenclaw?"

"Hmm, as impatient as your brother, i see. Lets see what we got up in that little head of yours"

Time went by. A long time. Daniel was sure that it was passing the five minute mark by now and he slowly started to worry that the students out of his line of vision were started to get angry with him for taking so long. While the Sorting Hat was thinking, it spoke a couple of words several times. 'desire for knowledge' and 'but don't want to show it off' until it went silent again and after a while Daniel let out a sigh.

"I've made my choice" Daniel sat upright on the stool, giving the Hat his full attention again.

"You, my boy belong in HUFFLEPUFF!"

"YES! - - - WAIT WHAT?!"

Before he could argue with the Hat that it had made a mistake, Daniel was ushered out of the stool for the next student to get sorted.

His eyes traveled to the Blue table with a longing look before he walked to the Yellow one.
