 Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?
The air here was thick. With pain, suffering, etc. Whatever. Ash did not want to be here anymore. But what was she going to do? She could not stay home and run from the wizarding world. If she wanted, her bodyguards would make it so. Make her hidden where nobody could find her. But after all this suffering, she felt like she had to stay. She wanted the last laugh. Clearly people would do anything to keep her out of the wizarding world, so she would prove them wrong. She may have hated Hogwarts and the cruelty that ran through it, but she hated Rosier and his crew more. Her mind was set. I am going... to... stay. A sad and happy sentence. A sentence that would lead to more pain, but maybe victory later. She looked over to the other tables and then down at hers. She rested her head on the table. Why was everything so hard? Painful? Why? Ashley Fox rested her head on the table, wondering if she made the right choice and if she had ever done anything to deserve this. Could they start the speech already? She wanted to eat and ignore her problems. Or cry. Whatever. |
