"Um, Defense, I guess," Violet replied, since she seemed to be having some success with her shield charms--though it looked like Mamie could handle a shield herself. Violet wished she'd put more effort into DADA classes the past few years (though since it turned out that they had been taught by Lucien Rosier most of that time, it was no wonder Violet hadn't gotten much out of them). Still, Violet was prepared to do her best at whichever role she undertook.

"Come on, everyone, we can push these guys back--they obviously aren't the first string fighters, or they'd be out there battling grown-up wizards, instead of trying to bully a bunch of little kids!" Violet called out, as she quickly strengthened the shield charms in front of her and Mamie--taunting worked both ways, and Violet had been wanting to say that all year.
