Mamie hadn't felt this much adrenaline before, except maybe flying, and maybe on that one Muggle roller coaster that made her stomach flip. She did not know as many spells as the professors or the older kids or the big bad wolf Neo Alliance followers, but she was good at the ones she did know!
Speaking of...
"Immobulus! Flipendo! Migalifors! Melofors!" If Mamie had been the kind of kid who tried really hard to impress adults, she would be doing so now, but she just wanted to contribute. Thus, she was supplementing the few duel-worthy charms she knew with...less conventional ferret- and pumpkin-head-turning. Every little bit helps, right? "Bombarda!"
Hah. She almost forgot one.
She was so engrossed with the offensive charms and spells aimed at the remaining Neo-Alliance followers that she forgot to focus the most important of all, the shield charm. Hit by one of the many stunning spells from the Neo-Alliance, Mamie flew backward and landed on the floor.
She'd remember the shield charm next time. |
