The signs were there, but Professor Kitridge didn't have the skill to pinpoint what would happen?

Kinsay squinted. Though she couldn't be sure whether it was doubt or disappointment that she was feeling. These thoughts kept her busy as the next question was posed and as a result, Kizzy entirely missed her opportunity to contribute an answer of her own... Not that she really wanted to participate very much.

Lacking any sort of enthusiasm, she reached into her bag to pull out a piece of parchment. In truth, she couldn't remember the last time she was itchy. It was a weird thing to remember, did Professor Kitridge know? But because she didn't want any trouble, she decided to make something up.

Quote:

The last place I remember being itchy is my nose.

Sometimes her nose itched, so it didn't really count as lying.

After setting her quill back down, she made her way to the front to collect the balloons.
