Cece was half listening as Phoebe spoke and the blonde glanced at her best friend, only connecting the dots when Kizzy's scared voice rang out in protest. She glanced from the younger girl to her big sister, not knowing what the right thing was. She wasn't in the place to make solid choices, didn't Feebs know? "I don't know how much help I'll be, but I won't let you go fight alone," She decided in the end. If Phoebe was resolved to find some way to push back, Cece would do her best to assist. She had to. She couldn't protect Kale, but maybe she could protect Phoebe.

Neva nodded to Gabi, knowing full well that she'd be needing all her healer training during this. She tried not dwell on the inevitability of injuries, though. She couldn't afford to focus on that.

She could hear it more clearly now, the chaos outside. They were out of time for questions and explanations. They were moving now.

"Listen up! We're moving to one of the spare office's on the sixth floor. The other students will join us there as soon as they've been gathered from the common rooms. We'll fortify the room once everyone is in. We're going to work together to keep ourselves safe." That was the plan. The only plan. Keep these kids safe. "Older students, if you feel you're capable of joining this fight, I cannot stop you. It is your choice and yours alone, but I need you to know that these people won't hesitate to strike you down. This is real and it's dangerous out there and I need you to acknowledge that before you make your choice." She looked around at them, the fifth, sixth and seventh years. Took in their faces. She didn't know that they were up for this after everything they'd been through, but it wasn't for her to decide. "Shield charms as we move up through the castle, alright? Stay together. Keep quiet and keep moving no matter what. Don't stop until you're inside that room. Wands at the ready, everyone. Let's go." And with that, Neva lead the group of students out into the corridor after checking to make sure their immediate path was clear.

OOC: Alright friends, students are being moved to this thread where they're going to be kept during the battle. Please remember this thread is for staff and student charries only. You can post your charrie arriving there as if Neva has lead them up through the castle. Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh years have been given the option to fight, so please know that if you choose to throw your older student into battle, that's completely up to you. For those playing younger students, we can't stop you from having your child slip away from the group going to the safe room, but please be realistic about them facing off against the neo-alliance and what dangers that would pose to them!
