Mamie wasn't a big fan of divination, but she was a big fan of Professor Kitridge. Even if she didn't get to stay in the Hufflepuff dorm anymore, she was still a Hufflepuff. She tried not to look happy as she trod up all the stairs from the deepest of the dungeons to the divination tower.
Why hadn't wizards invented some sort of magical escalator? It would make Hogwarts much easier to get around.
