Gabi finished passing out the wands and listened as Finneas took the reigns and explained the situation uttering more words than she'd heard him say in the entire past four years COMBINED before nodding along to Neva's additions. She paused for a moment when she asked if she needed to add anything and she nodded, clearing her throat.
"All I have to say is...as we've been saying this whole term, YOU students and your safety are our priority. Now that we have help, we can finally get rid of this Alliance for good but in order to do that, you need to trust us," she told them. It was plain and simple like that. "When we tell you to do something, you do it. If we tell you to run, you RUN. We say hide, you HIDE. Reinforcements are at the gate and this is not going to be a quick takeover. There will be a fight. It will be dangerous. But we are going to do everything in our powers to keep you safe," she assured them. If that meant stepping in front of a spell for them, she knew her colleagues and herself would do it without a second thought.
"As Professor Peralta said, we're going to move you somewhere safer. The Alliance will likely be here soon to try and stop us," she added. Just a fact. So they had to move FAST. She turned to Neva and bit her lip. "I have to go to the dungeons and get the Slytherins. I can meet you up there when I'm done...but I'm also not sure if I'll be needed elsewhere," she added softly. For healing stuff, you know?
