Apollo hated lessons these days, as did anyone. The only decent thing that lessons provided was a place to see his best friend without the overcrowded great hall. Even Professor Kitridge, who the first year had the sense was normally bubbly and full of light seemed darkened by the presence of the hoods. He wanted to owl his mother, his family. He had hoped to have seen them at christmas, but nothing changed and if anything things seemed to be getting worse. This wasn't how Apollo had envisioned his first year of Hogwarts going at all.

Taking a seat beside Bella, he nodded at her and the Professor, making note of the question on the board. Why did they feel itchy? "Bad karma. Like if you know something is wrong... you just ... " okay, he probably should leave it at that. He was doing good at keeping a low profile so far, why change it?
