Gabriel hadn't intended to interrupt whatever Brody was writing, but he was glad the other fellow didn't seem to mind. He took the seat across and set his food down. "Brody, that's right," he said, grinning at the re-introduction. He definitely had remembered that too. "Sorry to interrupt...Which department are you in, again?"

He took a bite of his own sandwich. Whilst chewing, he tried to sit a little taller and read upside down what Brody had been writing. Yes, he was being nosy. Was this Ministry business? Luckily for Brody, upside down reading was not ~~yet~~ a skill of Gabriel's, so he could only make out some o's on the page. Nothing helpful for drawing conclusions, unfortunately. The number of o's on a page was not indicative of anything.
