Things happened all at once.
One second she was aiming a spell at Fiona, and the other, she was being targeted. Without bothering to check if her spell had hit Fiona, Claudine quickly ducked in order to dodge the spell thrown by her. She had recognised the voice before fully registering who the culprit was: Violet. That was fine but one couldn’t expect to target Claudine and not expect to have one spell thrown back.
Just where was the younger Slytherin?
