Hearing footsteps behind her, Ivy glanced over her shoulder and was relieved to see it was Violet. Thank Merlin it wasn't someone from the other team yet, though it did sound like they weren't far behind. There was something that sounded like a spell (Atlas) being shouted behind her.
Hopefully she and Violet could get to one of those trees to hide behind before they caught up...
...was it just her imagination or did the mud suddenly seem softer? Harder to run in? It quickly felt like the more she tried to move forward, the deeper the mud got, until she was stuck in there all the way up to her knees?
Was this something Team Wizard had done? Crud.
"Violet? You having any trouble?" she asked, wiggling around to try and get her legs out of the soft, sticky mud.
