It was honestly MURDERING Phoebe's feels to know that she was the metaphorical rain on Kizzy's parade. Maybe sad was safe, but the fact that Kizzy could still be happy or excited while in prison at Hogwarts, unable to contact their parents, hidden away from most of their friends, that was kind of a miracle. And they really needed miracles these days.
Phoebe tugged lightly on a section of Kizzy's hair before sectioning it for braiding. "You remember that we tried a dance party before?" And they'd almost lost Bernie. But what was the harm here? It was like dancing in your bedroom. And they weren't trying to break rules and hiding it with a fake dance party. They would just be... dancing. "Ask Kale. He'll make it happen. Kale can make anything happen."
