Alexander Brian hated formal wear but since he liked his job and Darcey was here with him. He would make an exception. He doesn't like to bring it up but kinda hard in this circumstance. All that said he could be persuaded to complain less with her here. Still, this was as formal as he would go and that was saying something since he still misses the days of not having to be at the ministry at all like 90 percent of the time. It probably wasn't the best idea to be here but when was he ever one to have a good sense of judgment
