He was standing by one of the shelves when a woman walked by him. She was obviously involved in her own thoughts, not lifting her eyes even to glance at him. Not saying he was at all eye-catching, but he was RIGHT THERE ya know? His ego stirred a little. To make things a little weirder, she stood by the read-able materials which, in his opinion, was the least interesting section of the shop. Luther took a step closer, a small smile on his mouth, "I recommend the miscellaneous section," he gently spoke, a cracked crystal ball turning in one of his hands.
Some people may not understand the draw of a good second-hand book but Delyth somehow found something oddly romantic about it. Maybe it was just the way that a tattered, old, worn thing could still bring so much joy to people. Lost in thought, she didn’t initially notice someone else enter the shop so needless to say, she dropped the book she was holding and jumped back in fright. “oh…”

Turning, her eyes wide for a moment, she looked at the man in shock. [B]“Sorry, I didn’t hear you there. Uh…the what? Miscellaneous?” she replied as she bent over to pick up the book. Frazzled, she cast a glance at the man again, her eyes roaming from his face down to his shoes and then back up at the cracked crystal ball in his hands. “But everything is broken, possibly beyond repair”, a polite smile on her face as her attention briefly turned from the stranger to some of the objects that lay broken, haphazardly around the room. “these books though…some of them are okay. You know, if you’re willing to miss a page or two”. Sure it was annoying but the books still had their value. The curly haired blonde just wasn’t sure if the rest of the stuff in the shop did.
