He half-expected Rosier or one of his minions to burst through that door but relaxed a bit as he saw Shreya. “Hello,” he replied quietly, managing a weak half-smile in return. Neva and Camilo also received hellos upon their arrival, but there was little time to dwell on pleasantries.

Reprimands, points loss, detentions… the students may not like it, but they’re safer with us than with them.” He wished there was a way they could spare the students’ feelings and spare their lives, but if they had to pick one, the choice was obvious.
He nodded grimly at Camilo’s question as once again, his thoughts turned to his past. He could sort of empathize with Trent. Granted, he had never been trapped in a mirror by a dark wizard, but he knew what it was like to be parted from his family because of one. He nearly died fighting a dark wizard and spent months recovering in a hospital, believing he’d have a family to go home to… only to have that hope dashed. As long as he was here, he was going to do everything in his power to make sure that didn’t happen to Trent! “I think the best thing we can do for Trent now is to protect his children and the other students, give him something good to come back to when - if he gets out.” At least that's what he'd want if it were him stuck in that mirror!
