Bernie did agree with the others like her who were pointing out the pointlessness of this activity. But also unlike them, she was a little bit off in Bernieland, humming a tune (more than likely it was from Cinderella, let's be honest) as she pretended to sweep.
She was no stranger to chore time, but she was very good at looking busy and yet not actually accomplishing anything at all.
