Honestly, it was only because the professor himself was Muggleborn that she had not dropped the class. Also because she didn't want to give the Goon Squad a reason to look her way. Also because she DID want to give the Flying Professor a chance to look her way. Or something like that.
AnYwAy, Bernie was here, dropping into a spot on the squishy ground beside Emmerson Cambridge, a decision she may later come to regret. Or maybe not, on second thought, and on hearing Emmz.
"If she did break it, and I'm not saying she did, or didn't, but if she did, can I escort her to the Hospital Wing to have it looked at?" Because Bernie was poking Em's arm right now and she didn't feel a cast or anything. Did wizards even need casts? Couldn't they fix and heal and regrow bones pretty rapidly? That was something she should have asked Recard at some point. Anyway, this getting out of class stuff was becoming quite fun for Berns! Under no one's influence whatsoever or anything.
Back to the professor, whom Bernie was now dreamily watching. "Also, hi sir." Glad to see the Goons weren't here yet.
