"Hello professor. I hope you are doing well." Ash said it in a monotone that expressed zero emotion. Zero pain, zero happiness, zero feeling, nothing at all. She was in emotional lockdown. Nothing was allowed to come in or out. She was kinda like a shell. Scarcely a real person. "Nice brooms professor. Can't wait to try and fly on one." It was deadpan. Because as of the moment, Ash didn't have emotions. She just looked straight ahead. "Where did we get them from?" She took a seat. Brooms with splinters really make me feel alive. Right, because if you felt pain, that meant you weren't dead. She couldn't tell whether to laugh or cry. It was sad, but at the same time, she was making herself laugh. So she did neither, because emotion was a liability. She just stared straight ahead. |
