Eden listened to her classmates' answers, expression souring a bit when it came time for a certain few people to answer the question. She let her eyes wander the room while she thought of her own answer, her gaze finally landing back onto the strange owl in front of her.

The longer she waited, the more answers were already taken. So she went ahead and raised her hand. "I think Quinn's idea is pretty neat," Eden said, tone perfectly polite. Can't ignore me forever, Kingsley.

That didn't really answer the question, though, so Eden decided to elaborate. "I know it's probably not the kind of spell that Quinn is talking about, but I read that animagi can communicate with other animals while in their animal form. So that's one way magical folk can communicate with animals. It's not very accessible, though."
